Classfeel is a school management and classroom communication platform for schools, teachers, parents, and students. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and role (teacher, parent, or school administrator). Passwords are stored in a secured, non-readable format.
School and class information: School name, address, logo, class names, and staff-to-class assignments.
Student information: Student name, school and class enrollment, and parent-student relationships. Student records are created and managed by authorized school staff — students do not register directly.
Classroom content: Posts, comments, and photos shared within a class feed by teachers or school staff.
Notification preferences: For push notifications, we store a device identifier to send you relevant updates.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Display classroom activity and updates to authorized users
- Send push notifications about classroom updates
- Manage school, class, and student records on behalf of authorized school staff
- Verify your phone number during registration
- Maintain records required for school administration and compliance
We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Information Sharing
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Cloud service providers: We use third-party services to store files and deliver push notifications.
- Authorized school staff: School administrators have access to data within their school. Teachers have access to data within their assigned classes. Parents have access only to information related to their own children.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
5. Children’s Privacy
Classfeel is designed for use in school settings and may involve information about students under the age of 13. Student records are created and managed exclusively by authorized school administrators and teachers — children do not create accounts or submit information directly.
Schools using Classfeel are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent before entering student data into the platform, consistent with applicable laws including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
Parents who wish to review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s information should contact their school administrator or reach us at hello@classfeel.com.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We also retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate school administration purposes.
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will fulfill your request within 45 days unless retention is required by law.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
